Adding EXIF data

I need to add some EXIF data to a large number of files - including Name/copyright owner, creator, maybe location &c.

These are not in the PEF data and need to be added.

Any recommendations on which EXIF editor would be best to use to give full batch processing capabilities?

Raw Therapee will add this sort of info, but I do not know about batch processing.

If you've lightroom you can use that or else download the beta for lightroom 3, there might be some smaller programs that can do it as well but I don't know them.

IrfanView can do it just fine

(It's not very intuitive, but it does work and very well!)

In Photoshop Elements, under File/File Info, you can add all that information. I also believe you can use a template, so that you don't have to fill in every detail each time.

The Adobe products seem to be able to batch-process the addition of metadata like this, (including copyright info etc). Probably easiest to do it as part of your import of a whole series...
