I guess it depends on if you want it to work with a range of Pentax DSLRs or just the K10/20D.

When looking at the place you plug in on the K20D it is not same as the AC76U.

I agree. The K10D & K20D have a sort of rectangular power connector and the the older DSLRs have a round one. So I guess the source for your AC76U quote may be wrong. When looking at the place you plug in on the K20D it is not same as the AC76U.
I think the safest option is to go for the D-AC50 as it is the defined power supply unit in the K20D manual.
