Absolutely NOT your average bluebell wood !

I thought I'd get in first with the bluebells by going up close and personal with them.
Carpets of them in the woods are always a wonderful and magical sight but they have a lot to offer as individuals too.

These were taken with a K5 and (1st one) a Russian Jupiter 11A and (remainder) a Macro Takumar 50mm.
Both are rather elderly presets.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

With the exception of the first one (not in the same league) I love these shots. Great colours and close-ups and also like the square framing which works well. My favourites are 3 and particularly the abstract feel of 5 which would work well as a piece of wall-art.

Great results using some vintage equipment.

No's 3 and 6 are the stand out ones for me.
Certainly a different take on Bluebells

I'm with Karlo on this, although my favourite is the second one. K.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

2 and 3 are very nice (IMO). Some of those old Takumars are very capable.

Not keen on 1 or 5, but the rest look very good to me.

Cheers.
