Don't remember to much about Swansea though. My step-father was from there and his family lived on Pant-y-Celyn and we would visit twice a year. We would be taken down the path and steps from there to Singleton Park, and then walk back up Mount Pleasant. It tired us out.

Then in later life, a friend went to University there and on numerous visits we would do the "Mumbles Run".

Those were the days....and the Mumbles run...ohh bad heads.....was it Singleton or Cwmdonkin park???

You are younger than me...do you remember the fire station at the bottom of Mt Pleasant...Police Stn now.

Cardiff local city now....I did my bit for Swansea when I was in WDA FForestfach to start with, before being kicked upstairs.

Cwmdonkin...a very special refuge link

I can remember the firestation.

Yes, probably Cwmdonkin, but then we would carry on to another park and then on to Singleton (I think!) but it was 35 to 40 years ago!

Stop rambling you two, it's a while since I was in Wales, is it still raining?

Oh yes, welcome Ned, you'll get used to things like this happening, I hope!

At least we don't wander round in flat caps, with an anorexic whippet on a lead, greeting friends with "eeeeee ba gummmmmm laaad, fancy ecky thumpppppp" before hitting them with a floppy black puddin'.
