Its a great documentary series, telling a story that is repeated throughout the industrial world. Did you come across anyone sleeping rough? There is evidence that they are there in your photos but I wonder how they would react to you photographing them.

I echo all the positive comments above about how you've visualised and picked out a story....great stuff. I also like how you have controlled the dynamic range in most, with just the right amount of shadow revealing ... in some I think very bright highlights spill over too much raising the overall brightness, when it would be better kept more gloomy ( eg 11 & 12). Where the shadows have come up significantly there's also a grittiness that works well and complements the style. All in all an excellent and most original set!

DanielH. I don't remember that one, but it was a long time ago.( '73 '74 '75) when I worked in many different towns over there. I spent 4 weeks in Jan. Feb. and 2 weeks in Sept?? 'ish each year. I think it was '74 when the temperature got up to minus10deg for approx. 2 days but stayed around minus 25/30 for most of the time. BBBBRRRR it was cold.
Anyway I hope you had a good Christmas and will have a good new year. Keep taking the photos.
