I think those images are awesome. Love the Black and White's! Where is this park located? Nice dog!

The dog is nicely done and I like the way you cropped the cup shot, though I might have chopped a little more off the right.

Thanks chap, I keep the 28mm in my pocket, and I am pleased with some of the photographs taken so far.

Hi Nigel, I really like number 3 - very romantic- i'm sure that couple would love to have that photo when they are married with kids (although they may shout "STALKER").

The others to me are a fine example of ordinary situations being transformed into intersting images.

Which park is it?

Cheers chap, its Brueton Park, Solihull. My wife saw the pics from my morning out, and picked out no.3 as well...she called me a perv!
I had lost inspiration after the holidays, hence recent trip to Brum and this park, to try and kick start my eye as it were. The last time I tried that in Brueton Park I ended up selling all my dslr gear and bought a Fuji X100! It was so unreliable I knew I had to return to the dslr fold, by which time the K5 and Pentax were calling...

ps no.3 was with the 90mm, although I am still on the look out for something 150-300, just can't decide.

The coffee and cake shot is very nicely conceived.
Best wishes,
