Congratulations - I'm sure you'll be very happy with your new purchase! I can't think of any other lens that opens up so many new photo opportunities as a macro does, they're great fun.

Well this first shot in the wind and rain seems rather nice, love how bright the F2.5 is .

A very sharp lens with great bokeh.
All macro lenses are unkind portrait lenses - use with caution.

Further excuse to dive outside at sunset !
My partner was happy to hear of my purchase and said I don't drink, play golf or womanize so a little lens purchase can't be bad
on hearing this old macro is also sharp for portraits she looked less convinced
