Actually a walk from Woodingdean to Lewes and back along the Downs on Friday and took a few snaps. Rather hazy and a bit muggy with sun breaking through, and eventually rather warm!;

A beautiful evocation of England, unspoiled by wind turbines and photovoltaic farms, espoused by poets. Let’s pray this corner at least avoids change and development.

Thanks Rob - you are right; cultivated yet relatively unspoilt. There was one modern 'power' windmill tucked away on the hillside (and only a small one at that), but otherwise turbine and photovoltaic free!

So only spoilt by a bloke with a big Pentax on a massive tripod

Very nice pics. I couldn't pick a favourite although the windmill stands out because it's rare to see one.

Thank you for your comments; much appreciated.

And Algi, on this occasion - no tripod; just a big Pentax!
