A short walk around British Camp

British Camp is an iron age hill fort on the Malvern Hills with great views over Herefordshire and Worcestershire. With a reservoir on the Worcestershire side and the Malvern Hills Hotel on the road that cuts through the Hills from Malvern to Ledbury.

I took my very under-used FA31/1.8 Limited and the K1 MkII (the FA77 was in the rucksack but never made it out) on a day that threatened rain but never quite materialised.

Looks like a lovely walk, well illustrated, under some gorgeous skies which enhance the landscapes with great clarity. All very attractive.

Great selection of shots, numbers 2 and 5 are the stand out ones for me. Prefer no 3 to no 8, I like to path leading me to the hill with the flower just providing foreground interest. Be interested to see what the clouds look like in b&w with red/orange filter applied.

Nos. 2, 5 and 7 for me, please. The hills and clouds complement each other very well. And No. 1 for the half-way point in the walk (when it's open again...) .

Sorry, but I can't get excited about solitary foxgloves . Tried it many times myself and it never seems to work. For me, foxgloves need to be in groups, something to do with the width of a group balancing the lanky spike.

Nice walk about

For me no.3 and 4 have good depth to them.

I love No 2 in particular, it's got a perfect horizon line to highlight the sky and you got that patch of light in the background just at the right time.

The place reminds me a bit of the walk down to Lulworth village from the ridge.
