Yes, I use the Peak Design Anchor links and I think there are others as well. It also means I can change to a more robust strap for when I have a heavy lens, or use a Peak Design wrist strap which is my current preference. The anchor links are available from Amazon, not cheap but you don’t want anything that could fail!
You attach two “buttons” to the camera with the cord loops, and the anchors fit on the strap. They just clip on or off, dead easy.

I don't have straps at all on any of mine. I use a Joby adjustable sling when I'm out and about. It screws into the tripod hole underneath. You can wear it or simply carry it.

I would wholeheartedly agree with Robi , Peak design is our current go too system . Between us we have a number of bodies (K3 - Q's) and find the Peak system adaptable , flexible . unobtrusive and comfortable . Not cheap - but the quality and design makes it worth it .
Previously we had both used a brand mentioned previously in this thread and in a two year period both of us had experienced the component threaded into the tripod socket becoming seriously loose - whilst neither of us ever got to the point of a body falling off it was close enough for us to go down the Peak route .

I knew somebody would have the answer! Thank you RobL and everyone else who replied.
I too have a 'number' of bodies, I reckon the cost should not exceed £120 I guess the answer is to fit loops to all the cameras and connectors to a couple of straps...

That was always my feeling with any system using the plastic snap buckles - The other downside with them was that even if you unbuckled to use the camera on say a tripod I was always left with two lengths of webbing and half the buckle attached to the camera and getting in the way , which to my mind partially defeated the object of them being there in the first place .

I used to use OpTech too, but switched to a different cross body strap which I find more comfortable.
