A sad day for PENTAX

I cant help but feel a little sad this day. Quote from ricoh.

"Ricoh has stated that Pentax is a 'brand' now, similar to 'Lumix' on Panasonic cameras"

This has already been started as a thread, so I'll close this one to avoid confusion.

But it was a brand anyway. Originally for the Asahi Optical Company, who made my first two Pentax cameras (Spotmatic, MX). Nothing terribly new here - be happy Ricoh are actually determined to develop some good new products based on current indications.....
