That's beautiful! i WONDER IF THEY CAN LAMINATE IT LIKE THAT (OOPS CAPS LOCK!) and leave it in place. I suspect the health & safety brigade will see to it that no such enjoyment can be had and it'll be replaced forthwith!

No chance - today the whole area was festooned with black and yellow stripey tape and a big notice stuck to the glass 'DO NOT TOUCH THIS WINDOW !'. The inside pane is completely intact...

My wife has a card for a local trade warehouse, the rear of their customer service lift was one huge mirror from halfway up, it had been broken at some time in the distant past and was taped up with brown parcel tape, it was like that for over three years till it was eventally removed
Anyway.....I like this image too, I think karma has positioned the impact point just right.
But honestly, vandalism, what lengths some folk will go to for an image

The overall effect seems to depend on the viewing distance. If you are close you see the glass patterns. Further away, or with half-closed eyes it assumes a sort of 'Monet' style which I find quite pleasing.
Samsung GX10, 1/350 at f5.6, 138mm on the 50-200 kit lens.
Also on 500px
