A quick stroll through Bradgate

I had serious cabin fever, couped up since New Years Eve with a Flu virus, broke out today for a quick walk through Bradgate Park ancestral home of Lady Jane Grey K10 and DA 50-200 in hand.

I only had 30 minutes so no time for serious composition

Most images were shot at high ISO, PP with Silkypix

I really have a thing about trees, their age and texture. After Lady Jane's execution Elizabeth the First ordered that the Oaks on the estate be topped

8 So much happening here sadly I failed to capture quite a lot (make a note to myself to go back with a wide angle prime)

9 The ruins of the old house. I was running out of time so this was shot from around 400yards It was built at the bottom of a hill and yes parts of it really do lean at an angle.

I believe your more popular than you think.......that "guy" that came to check you out is in fact a girl

Seriously tho', there are the makings of some nice shots in there, the only thing that lets them down is the lighting, I loved the trees, get back when the light better and post the results.
My Names Alan, and I'm a lensaholic.

Thanks for the comments, it was a pretty awful day, the only advantage was that there were only a few people about.
Bradgate is only a few miles away so I will definitely go back
