Lilly, can you explain how you produced the photo that you entered in this weeks competition - the one with the 2 red phone boxes. It is really superb and I'd love to know how you went about it.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Steve,
Though I'm not Lilly (), selective colour can be easily done in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.
I have some tutorials on using layers which may help:

and

Have fun

BTW, I think this Photo Answers is a great mag for techniques, great DVD's too that come with the mag.

Here's an attempt this afternoon- poor quality image, taken on my mobile! (Sorry it's so big and rotated, I have not sussed how to sort that out yet.)
Overall,
I'm quite pleased with it.

Lilly, if you had taken that photo Christmas eve you could have got an excellent action shot of me falling down that d@~! drain and almost breaking my leg!!

not bad for a phone photo, do Pentax make phones now LOL!
bit more contrast with levels needed IMHO, navigatiing those kennels after dark after a night on the razz is a Helston hazard - but makes life a challenge here!
