A pano

Took the kids to a mountain ranch where they had a walk that ended in a great view over the valley with the beacons in the distance. Only had my 16-50mm with me so shot a 16 image stitched pano at the 50mm end.

Both colour and mono, although the mono has a slight crop to it:

I prefer the colour. I'm surprised the pano worked with so much grass in the foreground. It must have been a calm day.

50mm is great for picking up a lot of detail even though it means a lot of shots. A lot easier with a pano head with clicks at 10deg.

Did you use the camera in portrait mode or landscape. Was it 2 rows x 8 or 1 row x 16.
