Yeah, that sounds excellent
There are a load of us in and around Sheffield and I am sure we can arrange a day with you Will as we are not that far away!!!
Do you have pigs....would love to get some shots of the little piglets?

Andrew,
No pigs I am afraid, just sheep and horses, but I feel someone walking around with the right eye would get something really interesting.
I am glad you are keen.
Cheers

We are in Scraptoft and farm right up to leicester. We have lots of woodland a beautiful meadow all the farming gubbins, and a few more unusual things. It would be interesting to see it all through someone else's creative eye. And fun to meet a few other pentax users.

Hoe about sometime in early Spring , say the middle of March? Things should have started to green up a little and if it rains, it ought to be a little warmer.

I drive through Scraptoft every day, on my way to work in Rearsby, and see the photo opportunities in the old farm buildings and wildlife. But apart from one evening when I stopped to get a shot of the horses near the golf club to finish off a roll of film, I have never made a proper effort to do it properly I'll have to watch out for you on your tractorWe are in Scraptoft and farm right up to leicester. Would you like me to mention this on the EU Pentax forum, as there might be some interest there too?

crossed up,
I am sure many people have driven 100 miles to take photos of things not as good as what is on their doorstep. By all means, mention it on the EU forum.
Cheers

Thanks Will, what you say is very true!
I have just posted it over on the EU site. link
I'd be interested in any event, at whatever time or weather. Similarly, if you want a change I can arrange a local club motorsport shoot.

I am a farmer on the outskirts of leicester. Everyday I am constantly surrounded by wonderful photos, and I would be happy to host a meeting give you free range of the farm (and lunch) and hopefully learn a thing or two in exchange.
Is that something anyone would be interested in?
Many thanks
Will
