Did you not get an instruction manual with your camera? It's all in there.

Page 126 of the .PDF manual. Shooting Functions > AF Fine Adjustment.

Come, come, Peter.

Getting a manual and reading a manual are two very different things.

Sorry George, I'll self-administer a slap on the wrist later.

If the OP had read the manual, and not understood it, I'd have been a bit more sympathetic.

And this is a double post to boot.

If we don't feel sympathetic to a post, why reply to it We're not here to snipe at people who ask a question. We all need to encourage people to be able to ask anything they don't understand without being worried that they'll be jumped on.

We want to be a friendly and helpful forum. A bit of tolerance goes a long way.
Best regards, John

Although the information is in the manual it is not always easy to find it. The index is not too helpful sometimes.

Last ime I looked up this topic I looked under "focus", "lens", and "calibration" and only after stumbling upon "AF Fine adjutment" did I find the section I was looking for.

I'm sorry that you didn't find "Page 126 of the .PDF manual. Shooting Functions > AF Fine Adjustment." helpful.

Modern DSLR's are very complex pieces of equipment, hence the need for manufacturers to supply increasingly large instruction manuals. It seemed obvious to me that you had not read yours to look for the answer yourself.

Instead, and just for you, because I don't have a K-5 or a K-5 manual, I downloaded the .PDF manual from Pentaximaging.com, found the relevant section for you, and advised you where you would find the answer to your question.

That's not helpful?

EDIT: After I'd done all that, I discovered you'd posted the same question elsewhere, and had already been given the same information.
