Would anyone like to guess what they think the price of the Pentax 645D will come in at? Could be interesting to see who has really good intuition...

By the tone of the question, I suspect Ben already knows, I'll go for 1D beater cost of £1999.99

Old wood best to burn, old wine to drink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read.

C$7,999.99

Some broken arms, legs, and furniture...

A cancelled marriage license...

It's not in MY price range, but knowing Pentax, it WILL be the affordable choice.

That's around where I'm aiming my bet and hopes... I've already invested quite a bit in lenses I just hope that when the time comes I can stretch to the cost of a body - if not I guess I'll be sticking to my stocks of Velvia...

When I was with my ex-wife, I purchased a 40th anniversary Cherry Red "Fender" Stratocaster. This was while I was back in Canada visiting Toronto. I was living in France. She said "Sell it or I'm leaving you!" I sold it...We still got a divorce. Do you know how much that "Strat" would be worth now?!?!?

A Cherry Red 40th Anniversary "Strat"...That's the last time i'll ever be blackmailed again....

"Yes Darling..I'm getting off the computer now...No I haven't ordered anything online...No "Sweetie" of course not, you can trust me..Promise!

Got to go now my girlfriend is calling me to help her pick out a new bra...

Well, judging by the current costs of MF digital and the target market, I would've said somewhere around £4000 to £4500.

However, I reckoned the K10D would come in at £1200 and was pleasantly surprised at how wrong I was So maybe they'll catch me out in the same way with the 645D...

Now here's a sly thought...is this an "unofficial" project by the Pentax marketing team to work out the price?

If so, can everyone come back and post a price to match my £999.99?
