A good deed.

Since he was out looking for lenses, I'm sure he was smitten by the LBA virus already. You just acted like any good scout - always prepared

If he has an ebay account his wallet will soon start to cry...
There aren't as many bargains around as there were, but you do occasionally see them. Like what appeared to be a near mint 2nd version M 28mm f2.8 for £30 two days ago!
Yes, I know, you're probably wondering why I bought that given that I'm always raving about the f3.5 version. Thing is, the f3.5 tends to stay on the K-m as a walkabout lens, and I don't want to have to remove it in what are frequently dusty environments in order to use a wide angle prime on a film body. Buying two identical lenses seemed a bit silly so when I spotted the cheap f2.8 I pounced on it.

If that's not a far-fetched justification for LBA, I don't know what is

Mind I got my 2nd version m-28 f2.8 for £5, with a free MG body thrown in, but that was 2 years ago.
Cheers, HG

There were two other customers there and I could not refrain myself from paying attention once I heard "Pentax". Apparently this fellow with a K20D was checking out some M lenses, but they couldn't work out how to work with them.
"Exposure problems..." "aperture"
I approached the guy as he was leaving to inquiry about his predicament.
The issue was the aperture ring control activation. I soon sorted that out and the guy bought an excellent condition SMC-M 50mm F1.4.
Its nice to help people , but I cannot but wonder if he will end up buying more lenses to experiment now that he can use them. Could I have started a case of LBA?
