One that I entered in the comp. a week or so ago - this time without the popped colour.

A 19th century sulky, slowly being eaten by termites under a box tree in Outback NSW. A friend of mine has lived his entire life on this property, and he recalls taking (driving?) this thing to primary school (was 6 miles away, now is no more) when he was a young bloke, with his siblings. After school - get the horse out of the paddock next to the school, reharness it, and back they went. Times change.

Superb shot, a fantastic reminder of past times, especially with evidence, experience of Sulky and memories of using it from your friend. Magical.

I agree its too busy in B&W, I think it may have been better in colour.

I feel the wheel is too tight in the frame too, but thats just a personal choice.

As you might imagine, very much my sort of shot. Nice conversion, too.

Thanks all - I tried it in colour, but it looked even busier

I appreciate the C&C.
