Spectacular conditions, maybe you get them again this year
I like the soft light in your photos it's just that the first and last doesn't have a focus point that makes the photo interesting.
The second photo with the tree is much better in that expect, maybe remove a bit from the bottom so that more attention is on the tree because the hill is quite overpowering.

How strange to see this place in such conditions. I rather like the odd, flat light.

I agree with Stephan about number two, the tree makes it. However, I disagree about cropping it. The rocks in the foreground have such interesting patterns, it would be a shame to lose them.

Thanks for digging these out again Stefan.
For those who don't know this a limestone pavement on at the top of a cliff edge.
On the day i was struck by the eerie flat lighting and the very white ice crystals on the top of parts of the pavement. The whole effect gave an interesting texture especialy as the foreground was not affected by the ice.

An odd day of freezing fog with little light. Shots taken with DS and 16-45 lens, hand held with ISO at 800.
