Don`t Mind at all Mike.
Am happy for anyone to play with images I post, it`s one of the reasons I post them. Your version certainly is better than the original. Must get to grips with PS someday.

What colours in that little bird. I loved looking at the photo of him, he sure draws you in, had to take my eyes off him to see his surroundings. What is he anyway? Looks half Robin and half Blue-jay!!

It does have a fairly bad reputation, but I am actually quite enjoying it, there are issues over poor contrast in certain circumstances but generally I think i`ve been lucky and got a decent copy.wasn't that sharp and produced terrible shots so
Not sure about the elephant shot, when I look at the original it does look a bit sharper.

My Tamron Adaptall 2 lenses are exactly the same but given the right processing the pictures really come to life. I presume it's something to do with the "digital age"

Now for the Tamron 28-200, cost £50 new
I struggled with the baby elephants, they would not come out of the shadows.
All handheld, minimum processing.
