Hi Shaun
Thanks for the comment
I was tempted to have a go but feared that my weight may break his sledge so I declined his offer as I did not want to add the the surprisingly high number of broken sledges around or upset the little fella
I feel sorry for the staff as people seem to think that it is alright to abandon broken sledges and leave them as litter in the country park
This did not stop me wanting to get on it head first after a run up though Casualty may have been the more likely outcome
Cheers

Hi Cliff
Thanks for the comment
The viaduct is on the line between Ruabon and Chirk - it sits/stands at one end of the Ty Mawr country park in Cefn Mawr
Telfords 'famous' Aquaduct is a little further up the valley (about 1.5 to 2 miles)
You should visit one day
Cheers

I took my son out with his sledge last weekend, a bit of fun for him but I promised myself that I would make it mainly about him and not photo's - it went ok, took some 'action' shots but also tried to take a few other pics whilst waiting for him to get back up the slope each time
Basically I wondered if I could make a half decent job of some photo's whilst pretty much being rooted to one area and not being there specifically for photo's other than of him and his sledge
I used the K5 with a Sigma 70-300 and the K10 with my Vivitar 28mm.
C&C welcome
No hands
Beginning to wobble
Oops
Oops a bit more
And the random shots of anything within reach whilst waiting for the little guy to get back to the top of the slope
The view towards Froncysyllte
The sun shines nicely on the phone lines
Wet knees getting this one
Random snow on a post
Lock & Chain
Animal shelter at the bottom of the slope
Regards
