Don't know what that animal is in the last image but I like the limited DOF it has and the pose looking to the side

I love the framing and choice of aperture of the first image. It is a shame you could not avoid that blob of white OOF area, but a striking capture none the less.
I think it is a Dwarf Mongoose in the last picture.
