Ouch!!!! my father managed to fall of a wall and smacking his head of the ground, he was trying to get the perfect shot and we spent his birthday in A&E.

I was trying to get a shot as I was sliding down a bannister. Caught my wedding ring on a exposed bolt and my momentum near ripped my finger off.
I was told off when I got home.
Still not a patch on dying for your art.

I suspect that zoom lenses have probably saved more than a few lives over the years, especially at vertical beauty spots!

Last time I visited High Force it was VERY slippy under foot, the best views had the worst light and it was cold.
A nice place to look at but horrible for photos!
