A Couple More Birds

Finally something that wasn't a tit appeared at the end of my DA*300, which was nice. This is a black redstart, according to the RSPB there are very few in the UK; 19-44 breeding pairs. So it's nice to show something a little different. Trouble is I am mow enjoying this bird photography lark and the Sigma 500mm has crossed my mind. Halos are optional.

Very nice bird. Hope thats the Sigma 500mm f4.5 that is interesting you, lol

Superb ... I don't know my magpies from my eagles (don't care either ) but these ooze quality & finess. Lovely suble tones and just the right amount of contrast.

As an alternative Mifsuds has a mint, unused Pentax 560mm for £3699, a fraction cheaper than a new Sigma 500mm

Lovely images Dr O, especially the second one which has a nice diffused background and of course the rusty bike!

I wish I had more time to focus on wildlife photography, maybe when I retire
