After living in Yorkshire for over 15 years, I finally managed to visit Brimham Rocks today, a cold, wet and sometimes snowy day. Why didn't I go there earlier? I don't know. Anyway below is a small selection of images.

It's somewhere I must go too sometime. Did you pay the £5 parking fee, sounds a lot (though not as much as your visit to the War Weekend incurred - I hope.) I gather there is a free car park too nearby.
The weather today surely didn't help with the photos though that perilous tree photo always works.

No. 3 is particularly excellent!

And no. 2 ain't half bad either!

Great stuff.

Thanks Mike. Nos 2 and 3 are panos.
John - I couldn't see a free car park. It was £5 for 4 hours to park. The machine only accepted coins and I didn't have the correct amount so I took a chance - ended up OK.

It looks like an interesting area. A lovely set with No.3 being the stand out shot for me.

Stuning. No. 3 is my favourite.

Nice set, but No:3 is the real stand out and the mono conversion works so well.

+1

For me No. 1 looks too busy and No. 2 looks tilted. Perhaps a mono conversion for No. 4?

Cheers.

The simplicity of no 3 and in b&w works for me. No 2 is nice but as Philip asks; is it tilted?

Thanks.
No 2 might be tilted but the horizon was made by a hill and it is sloping on either sides so that made it difficult to be entirely sure.
As for No 1,I agree it is quite busy. The view was much better with the naked eye and the camera (even the K1) couldn't do justice with it.
