Got myself new/used DA * 300/4 few days ago. Unfortunately weather was rubbish so I couldn't really try it. Today was first day when it picked up a litte so I went out with K 3II, Pentax 1.4 HD Converter and DA 300.
Now I just need to learn how to use it properly.

Few from the outing:

The robin is a good clear shot, just the background is a bit cluttered, its a good lens once you get the hang of it.
C&C welcome.

Lovely images, the Robin is so pretty and considering the conditions i bet you are looking forward to some decent light.
Kind regards Maria

Nice Robin shot ☺

I believe that lens / converter combination to be very capable 😀

Roll on sunny weather 😀
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Thanks.
Forecast for end of this week is looking good. Any decent light I'll try again.

Funny thing with long tailed tit photo: my frien who's been shooting birds for last 3 years doesn't have half decent photo of one and I showed him this one saying: just trying out new lens. Upset him a little bit .
