Anyone else just get a 'Nigerian' scam email in their message inbox on this forum?

Yup, fake 'new user'. Well all be getting PM's about wonderfully priced training shoes next if were not careful....... (or rather the moderators aren't careful )

Yes, I believe I've just received the same scam message from a ' ROSELINE KOMO WILLIAMS.
EMAIL:I also received a message in my home e-mail box purporting to be from the 'Pentax User Club' advising me that there was a new message for me at the Pentax User Club web site and giving a link which brought to this site. I'm no computer whiz kid (I'm an oldie) but I suggest the security aspects of this site need to be improved. Does this mean that all personal info divulged at the time of joining the 'Pentax User Club' is now held on some third party data base and being sold or passed on? People with cameras must appear to be reasonably worthwhile financial targets! Regards Photon

No the info on here hasnt been compromised, its just someone has managed to join as a 'member' and then spam PM'd to every other member

I get these all the time, if anyone out there feels they are missing out, just let me know and I'll forward them on to you Although my wife is a Holistic Therapist and because her website includes the magic word "massage" you may be more interested in the junk mail she gets
