I'm hoping go Ken, but haven't told the wife yet and she may have other plans.
But can we keep in touch and we could share the travel costs.

Sorry but I shan't be able to make it after all. The Bill Payer just announced this weekend that the only time he can take a holiday this year is early May. He wants to go to the Pacific Northwest of the USA, so I can't even sneak in a few days in Nottingham.

Hopefully one of you kind souls will allow me to leave my crash helmet and bike gear in your boot while we are out taking photos. Bad enough carting camera equipment about but the rest of the stuff will be a pain. Not sure if the other half will want to come (she'll be over from the US), in which case we may have to look into trains etc.

Cheers, Kris.

Well I know the K10D and 50-135 can survive torrential rain so no problem there

I'm not far from St Albans. If it is a nice day I'd like to ride, but as I say depends on the lady love as she won't ride pillion (sensible lass).

We'll see nearer the time perhaps?

Best wishes and thanks for the offer, Kris.
