I will be polling the date on the forum on the 1st of Feb for 5/7 days, as I said a bit back which ever day has the most votes that will be the day.
The two dates to remind folk are. 9th or 10th of May, (Saturday/Sunday)
The date and address of the meeting place will be in the next PU Mag, It would be nice to see you Gwyn.

Just as an idea, would it be possible to do both days? We could not make a Saturday as the shop is open, and others just cannot make a Sunday, so if we can get the numbers up, there may be enough to do both?
All i can say is see how the numbers run on the poll, I don,t mind both days.

If you read the first page of this thread you will see it is planned for the Robin Hood Centre. Hopefully if you have just subscribed you will get the mag in time but I'm sure it will all appear here again too as not every one here is a subscriber.

Hi all,
The meet day/date, address, post code for sat/Nav users, will be in the next Mag for anyone that has missed the details.
Also depending on turn out we could do both days (9th + 10th) Tracey and I are willing to be there to meet and greet you ( so as many of us as possible meet each other) on both days but there must be a good turn out to do both, It's up to you guys.
POLL will be on the forum for 7 days on the 1st Feb 09.This will be a number count for both days

Hello,
Terry has been in touch to say that the Pentax Users Forum meet will be on Saturday 9th May 2009 running from 10am till 4pm. From the PU team there will be at least me. Pete originally said he would be coming but this will depend on how he is feeling by then. I will be speaking with Pentax and hopefully organising something with them, i.e. get some Pentax gear. Terry will also be there on the 10th at the same times for anyone who can't make the Saturday. If anyone else has any other ideas please get in touch.
Thanks
Dan

The Netherlands
I think we should have a Dutchy Pentax Meet sometime, there are a few of us Hollanders on here (I also refer to those who live in the other 9 (or is it 11) provinces in the Netherlands as well as those living in Nord-Holland and Zuid-Holland)
As for the May gathering, I shall have to look into it a bit more. I have a brother living in Derby so I can always inflict myself on him , but it is a lot of money to spend to get over there which could be put to better uses (more gear :lol It is also during a Dutch school holiday period so it would also depend on there being vacancies so I can stick the dogs in kennels for a few days. I may ask next week when I drop them off for a couple of nights. Going to see Bill Wyman in Hengelo next week, convenient for the Bill Payer as he works there, but it means a long train trip and a night away for me.
