80th Birthday Party

My Grandma's 80th birthday gave me the opportunity to take some candid shots of my family. First time I've used the Samsung flash gun seriously, and I'm quite pleased with the results. I tried to give the shots a bright, fresh look in post processing, and used a gaussian blur layer to add a subtle flattering glow to the shots of my Grandma and cousins.

PP of the people shots is nicely done, IMO.

Its because I bounced the flash off the ceiling JudithAnn... you need an external flash to do it.

Thanks Darlene.

Nice shots! I like the cousins one best but it's a shame the water jug and wineglass are in the frame.

Now how about posting the unflattering shot of you?
