thinking of parting with this lens dont use it vey often very clean no dust marks etc with both caps whats it worth ?

Not much although it is quite good zoom. I guess something in between 40-50 GBP.

I bought one new, many years ago, and loved it.

When it was stolen, I bought another on Ebay.

For those who like closely-cropped portraits, it's an excellent choice.

Like all M & K lenses, you can use it in Av mode on a DSLR, provided it is wide-open - which is great for portraits.

I've just received a copy from eBay and it seems pretty good for the £10 I got it for!

It seems to be a well thought of zoom lens?
K5, K200 and several film Pentax cameras!
