645 and 645N - working on K10D

I have seen a few lenses described as 645 or 645N. I have done some research - figuring that 645 seems to be some professional Pentax camera...

Just wondering if any of these lenses could be used on K10D ( I guess an adapter is needed ).

Anyone using some - any recommendation. Any info would be appreciated greatly.

Those are for the Pentax 645 medium format camera, there's a picture of mine here

They can be fitted to K mount cameras with an adapter but they become fully manual with stop down metering - not worth the effort I think

You can also use the 6x7 lenses with an adapter. Problem is the adapters new are in excess of £100 and very difficult to get hold of second hand. Bearing in mind the problems of using them and the cost of the lenses, the 35mm primes would be a better option.

Thanks for clarifying - was wondering. I saw a video on you tube - from the US and the person used a 645 lens. Thats why I was interested....but thanks for clarifying.
