The unique and stunted husk of what used to be is well placed, but that blown sun is killing the image.
Something like this I always like to see in B&W. Is there any way of cloning out or remedying that sun?

I agree with Pauly, though I like the colour. I am assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that as this is 5 exposures, the most under exposed frame doesn't have those blown highlights? If so, you could try blending the sun from that shot into this image.

I kinda like the blown sun. B&W Works well with blown suns. Try B&W

Cheers guys,
Have tried B&W, but for some reason I just don't seem to get it, think this one is probably a lost cause, cannot get rid of the blow out even with adding in the original darkest frame.
Never mind, as the saying goes, there are plenty more trees in the woods;

It is very possible to use the cloning tool to touch up and unify the edges of that corona. It's all about changing the opacity levels. I did it here just using Photoplus X3 software, not the best piece of software but it's OK for cloning and such.

Put the tree in the middle as it is sort of the point of the image.
Not sure about the bright spot where the sun was rising.
