Yes I agree that members, who do their home work will often find themselves bidding against each other. I have no problem with that.
What I do find frustrating, is that this type of post tips of the less diligent to a potential bargain, which often results in frenzied activity and an inflated selling price.

Wonder what will happen when all the automatic bids come in on the last second, seems to have generated a great deal of interest this item. Unfortunately I will be out when the auction ends. Still hoping my auto bid might come trumps though.
