Thanks for the kind words, chaps.
Daniel, I'm sure your floodtide of beans would go down very well there. There is a very American pictorialist style or feeling to the site, not that that is in any way a criticism - the standard is very, very high but it isn't a place for gritty photojournalism. No matter, the chips are down now and I'm determined to get more up there!

At last here is a picture taken with the 28mm Shift, not the most obvious use of a shift lens but there are a few degrees of shift in this picture.
I'm rather chuffed that it should appear on the Pentax Photo Gallery this morning:

As Malo said in another thread, it perhaps wasn't the one that I had thought would be picked from the batch I uploaded.

I seem to remember this one from a previous competition I had to judge. At last here is a picture taken with the 28mm Shift, not the most obvious use of a shift lens but there are a few degrees of shift in this picture.

I liked it very much then, though it didn't meet the criteria I had set. But.........congratulations on a very deserved PPG placement.
It really belongs there.
Martin.

I have got three pics on there already (and a scary self portrait :lol, but at the time it said they couldn't accommodate panoramic shots. I should have another look and see if anything's changed.Daniel, I'm sure your floodtide of beans would go down very well there.

Thanks Ken, portrait was just with my K10D at arms length with the diffused flash on, and only taken (in a hurry) because I thought you had to have a photo on there. Great pics and I like your self-portrait too!
Just had another look at the image guidelines, and number 9 says "The PENTAX Photo Gallery does not currently support photos with non-standard aspect ratios (eg. panoramic photos)." I wonder if it ever will...
Must get round to uploading some more pics.

A minty shift went for £510.00 tonight. I really should have snapped up one of the ones which went for about £250 last year... ~sigh~

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

It's a shame, with the current price of the 18-55, that some enterprising person doesn't try and hack it into a tilt-n-shift... (but then it may be much more complex than that I suppose!)

The image circle is too small, unfortunately.
