Yup this is where Pentax need to sort themselves out. The K-5 is not optimal in this regardAnvh wrote:

I have, plenty, I currently have to use a Nikon D300 at work, it's not that much faster, but more sophisticated and it's accurate in low light.Accurate... have some of you tried to other cameras AF?

I would see very low ISO numbers as a feature, could allow me to dispense with theses ND filters, hmmmm, "May have to apply for a patent" !

I wouldn't say no to ISO10. You won't get better IQ though, just an inbuilt ND filter :
Surely a 'gap in the market' ? I wouldn't say no to ISO10. You won't get better IQ though, just an inbuilt ND filter :

You can simulate lower ISO by using higher ISO shots and stacking them on each other.Smeggypants wrote,

Seem's like a lot of work, Stefan I would like to be able to dial in ISO numbers from -400, now that would be cool. Smeggypants

Can believe this hasn't been done before, in the 'digital age' ?
No extra losses due to the use of filter glass, dust, marks etc, why can't we have it ?

Not if the camera does it automaticly for you.
btw, why not just dump the whole camera all together?
Most of these photos are created without one for example. http://preece.myexpose.com/gallery/
