This topic was a great idea - provokes all kind of reflections, not just about photography either! Anyway, here are mine, please feel free to comment.
January
Near Langsett reservoir - an obliging kestrel showing its fantastic plumage!

February
Would you guess this is Co. Sligo in February? Streedagh Back Strand, to be precise.

March
Looking across Ullswater, late afternoon

April
A visit to Stratford-upon-Avon. I love irises!

May
In Beaumont Park, Huddersfield

July 1
Away for a lot of June without a Pentax, so two from July. This one with thanks to Alan Wennington for his tips about good birding spots in the north-east.

July 2
Same trip, evening light near Seahouses, Northumberland

August
First attempt at cycling (photography, that is) at the Tickhill Grand Prix. A great day out thanks to David Storm.

September
A week in Riva del Garda to celebrate my wife's retirement. A lovely spot.

October
Back up in Northumberland, walking this time. This is in lovely Warkworth

November
A visit to friends "down south". Hadn't been to London for years. Picked this shot because it seems to illustrate how the old traditional buildings are being totally dwarfed by new developments

December
Back to a favourite local spot. I love how a bit of snow brings out all kinds of detail in the landscape that might otherwise be unnoticed. Will post a few more of these separately.

Hope you find something you like!

Excellent, I had to read the exif to see when you swapped K5 for K3. I think I'll hang on a bit longer. Funnily enough playing with my son's (little used) K3 it was the viewfinder brightness and easy to read info in there (I wear glasses) that made the biggest impression on me.

Seahouses and Riva Del Garda for me! Great scenic captures, but overall a good summary of a photographic year.

Another enjoyable set with shots of some of my favourite places. I particularly like March (can't resist Ullswater) and November John. Totally agree with your comment on the London shot and the juxtaposition of old and new works really well.

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Thanks for the positive comments, all. The process of choosing twelve was a great incentive to clear out a load of rubbish too!
