Good to see Ricoh-Pentax starting to spend some serious $$ on marketing!

Interesting reading, I just hope Ricoh-Pentax use this to their advantage in terms of moving forward with new products and designs.

I doubt if there's any difference between those statistically, looking at the numbers.

This may be correct as there is no indication of sample size, but it still looks good and debunks the naysayers on these forums who complain about Pentax quality.

Thanks for posting this Opethian.

I am very happy that we finally get some good PR. In good timing as well with Ricoh onboard. I am off to the London Google+ Photowalk now and am hoping will not be the only Pentaxian there!

I was very pleased to see this! I was a tiny bit surprised that Canon came out best in picture quality, mainly because they do not have a single camera in the top 10 of the DxO mark tests (Pentax K-5 is the best APC-S camera), which measures sensor performance. However, I suspect that in the real world, there is little to choose between the IQ of all the DSLR brands.

people often look suprised when they see I have a Pentax camera.
I say I bought it based on reports from magazines, online etc and I liked the feel of it.

It is annoying that there we are in the minority; it's be nice to be able to borrow lenses from fellow photographers....

I'm very suprised other brands don't have TAV mode....
Cheers,

On the plus side, we can scavenge all their old lenses they have lying around since they switched to Canikon
