Does anyone have any experience with Pentax 200 DA* in butterfly photographing .. I donít like using a macro lens for bf capturing (except very small species) and I wonder whether 200 DA* does any better than 300 DA* (which is a great lens including for bf capturing).

It's been a long time since I had mine - a few butterfly pics here taken with a K20D

I doubt it's any better than the DA*300 unless the faster aperture is of any advantage to you. I have both and had some good results with butterflies and dragonflies with the DA*300.
