Having had a look around this site I've seen Silkypix mentioned a few times.
Where can I get hold of a copy and is it expensive?
Here you go Father http://www.isl.co.jp/SILKYPIX/english/

I got it last year mainly as a result of favourable comments on this site. It is a fantastic raw converter and image editor. It is not a photo organiser however and does not have the range of "clone" tools to remove dust spots etc such as the Photoshop range.

I use it to "develop" raw files and then save them in Photoshop Elements.

/me hangs head in shame

in my deffence, I don't have any Adobe products.

Now I just need to get Silkypix to release a Linux version. If they did, I would buy it. Come to think of it, has anyone tried running Silkypix under WINE?
you don't have to be mad to post here

but it does help
