I actually prefer the hard top version but I wouldn't kick this one out of my garage...

Aged 11 I owned an example of the original corgi model 261, the James Bond hardtop DB5 in 1965. From memory I think it cost 7/6. It was handed down to my two younger brothers who trashed it - as little boys do. I wish I had it now.
I am fortunate however to have a black and white photo of me holding it proudly when it was still intact!

And those early Corgi JB models fetch a nice price today, especially if you have the box and the passenger with the gun hasn't been "ejected" and lost

I had one and it was wonderful. The machine guns popped out and the ejection seat worked too, flinging the baddie into the air. But it got played with and scratched, the man was hoovered up. I think mum sent it to a jumble sale (remember those?) in the end. I don't care: toys are to be played with.

Lovely. I'd be the same with real cars if I had Jay Leno's garage and his bank balance. Keep the nice and clean, fed and watered but take the out and use them...

Is the shadow deliberate? Makes it look like it had a prang and someone replaced the door with a mismatched one from an old Ford Cortina.

Yes the shadow is deliberate. The car is parked opposite a long tall brick wall that has an entrance into a courtyard eating area. and if you look closely another car parked alongside the wall is reflected too.
