Wow! That is HUGE. I have a 17" monster notebook that weights in at over 8kg with power brick so an 18.4" must be back breaking!

Yeah, it's not what you would call "mobile" but its for gaming as well as LightRoom/Photoshop etc so big screen is a must for me.
Just as a side note, i'm off don to plymouth end of the month, love it down there, will be paying a visit to Cap'n Jaspers. Mmmm

check out Dicota Multigiant 20" Notebook Carrying Case. You can Google it or find it on yahoo's search engine. Not much selection for the 19" cases but this one looks decent.

Check out TechAir bags - they also come with a tag which you register and if it disappears hopefully it will be returned to you

I have a backpack for my 13ins MBP and it takes nearly all my camera gear as well [ K-x in a wee holster type bag ]
Protection for the MBP is excellent - no other word for it. It's reasonably discreet and very comfortable in use.

Its a big laptop. I dont think a bag will be able to carry it safely. I think you should go for a laptop leather briefcase

And the thread was resurrected each time by the spammer after a gap of a year!

I just got myself a new laptop with an 18.4" screen and have been looking for the obligatory bag.
Does anyone know of anywhere that sells decent lappy bags for 19" laptops that dont look like a suitcase or something from the 1950's?
Any pointers would be great!
Take Care
