There have been some excellent sets shared from 2014 and I have changed my mind several times over whether or not I would join in on this one.

I did not want to post a set of shots that I have posted throughout the year and I wanted there to be a shot taken in each month and I did have a few very lean months!

So - after much internal debate - here is my set. None of these have been posted in 2014 although one or two are similar to shots posted. An eclectic mix by any standards!

Carl

January - not a day for going on the beach at Sandsend

February - an afternoon by the river in my home town of Knaresborough

Comment Image

March - a trip to Robin Hoods Bay

Comment Image

April - playing with abstract shots of equipment on old fishing boats at Flamborough

Comment Image

May - watching people watching people in Whitby

Comment Image

June - first trip out with my Lee filters - dusk over Whitby Bay

Comment Image

July - my daughter marking her territory on Godrevy Beach Cornwall

Comment Image

August - messing around with processing techniques on an image of Flamborough Head

Comment Image

September - an excellent day at Ullswater

Comment Image

October - on the footplate at the NYMR WW2 event

Comment Image

November - is Goth Fest month - so it had to be a Goth!

Comment Image

December - Christmas day shot of the 'real' Fritz the dog feeling very left out as my kids manically opened presents - so he borrowed my son's bunny!

Some really wonderful landscapes there....and I love the abstract fishing equipment...my only gripe is the quite horrid hi-vis reflection on the shot of 63395...shiny locos should be banned, unlike shiny water wich you have used to good effect in the beautiful Ullswater shot.

I'm glad you decided to join in Carl, this is a first class set of images. As always your moody landscape/seascape pictures are top rank and I especially enjoyed January at Sandsend. Also the real Fritz the dog has quality and humour.
The hi-viz reflection in the paintwork of the Q6, which upsets Stephen, is easily cured with a little local desaturation.

Confession time Stephen - I knew that I would get a reaction to that reflection - the devil made me post it

Thanks for posting Carl - the abstract fishing eqpt one is my favourite. I actually like the reflection on the loco () - although agree it should probably be non-shiny! And although I am not greatly into animal piccies, do like the 'real' Fritz. For me you have overdone the sky (with your new Lee filters?) over Ullswater

Your images always have your own very individual interpretation, Carl, which i think is probably what everyone would wish for. This set is no exception - every one really striking and eye-catching in its own way. Glad you decided to join in!
Best wishes

Very enjoyable and quirky, which is good. I find the first strangely fascinating as do I the shoes. The dog is hilarious.
