Yes, its supported in versions 2.3 and 2.4.

I use Photoshop CS (not the CS2 variant) and the Camera RAW plugin works fine for me. I've used both 2.3 and 2.4 versions with no issues at all.

I have also read that PaintShop Pro 9 handles DS RAW files but it doesn't work on mine.

that's interesting. As far as I understand the Adobe WEB-pages

the *istDS is not listed as supported. Good to hear that it works anyway (I have a *istD but wanted to work a few files from a friend who has a *istDS).
