I wouldn't bin the k100d Jemma. You won't get the normal price for it, but someone might be willing to buy it to take the AA filter off. Some people do this to convert it to IR and if the sealing on the sensor is ok and only the AA filter is affected then it would be useful to them.

Something cropped up today and I need some spare cash. Looking to get rid of non-essential equipment. All of these items I've only had for a short time. I didn't buy the K-7 new but have only taken about 20 shots with it - was going to be my spare. Shutter count is a reasonable 8800. Condition is...

Q for sale
Yes, it is a superbly constructed camera and considering the size of the sensor performs extremely well! I would love to try out the new zoom but it would have to come down in price a fair bit first!

I have a Pentacon (previously Meyer) 500mm f/5.6 in "user" condition, with clear glasses. There is the rotating tripod ring, and is provided with front cap and original case. The lens was adapted for Pentax 6x7 bayonet, by a very good photo mechanic. The new bayonet was made at the lathe from hig...

It hunts in anything other than decent lighting conditions and the AF is woefully slow for this lens type and the AF motor is louder than other similar lens types. Under focusing issues I mean that at least when it's "locked on" I don't want to have b...
