FS: SMC Pentax A 100mm f2.8 Macro
I too am a proud owner of one of these splendiferous gems and can vouch for all of the above. Very hard to come by and a sale which one might regret! I'm over the regrets - it is the nicest 100 macro to use by some distance, but it's being used so infrequently that it is wrong to keep hold of it ...

FS: SMC Pentax A 100mm f2.8 Macro
As Haris corrected - it is a unique optical formula in the venerable Pentax 100mm hereditary line, but the things that distinguish it further (IMO) is the beautiful build quality and simply the nicest focus action of any lens I have used. If your read the reviews you'll see various reasons why ...

WTB or WTT: Pentax A 1.4x-L
Sorry Lenny, afraid he bought it today. I had both L converters back from when I had my A* 300mm 2.8 and they did work very well with it, I couldn't try the WR converter as it wasn't around at that time but they were certainly better than the 1.7x with the A*

FS: Sigma 150-500mm APO DG OS HSM (Pentax Fit - of course!)
This was bought from a forum member about 4yrs ago, but hasn’t seen a lot of sues since then because it’s heavy (not surprisingly!) and I damaged my right knee about then – and that was on top of the bad back I’ve had for decades! So, it’s only been used at a few airshows and the occasional attempts...

CLEAROUT! K-1 body (+grip), DA*55mm 1.4, Tamron 70-200 2.8, Tamron 17-35mm f2.8 and more!
I have DA*55 and the SMC-F 50. I prefer the 55 on the K-1. I think the contrast is better and it has the bonus of being weather resistant etc. I did some tests on the 55 and found I could get a bit of vignetting in the extreme corners with the right aperture and focus distance combination. IIRC i...

FS: Pentax *ist DL (low shutter count) and DA 40mm F2.8 Limited
A Classic Pentax digital original, released well before my transition from film, so no experience of it myself. But it's a model that keeps coming back into all sorts of discussions about digital imaging, sensor technology and image quality, and there's an obvious respect and affection from Pentax u...

Sigma Superwide II
Manual focus 24mm lens, 'fair condition'; works well though. Note there are a couple of faint smudges to the front element coating. Doesn't seem to affect image quality; please see the full size image samples in the Flickr album below. (The exif data reports 85mm; I just forgot to set the focal leng...

FS: Tamron 10-24 Di II; Pentax DA 50-200WR ; Pentax DA35 f/2.4 ; Pentax DA50 f/1.8
Wow that Tamron has my attention. Reviews well. :| It was probably the hardest one to put on the list! It captures landscapes beautifully, but also has a minimum focus distance of 24cm, so can be used quite creatively! The Hereford Dawn photo in my gallery was taken with it, and some of the lands...

FS: Pentax 67 Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 300mm f4
The last of my 67 lenses is the Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 6x7 300mm f4 lens - Optically it is pretty good with a small amount of dust and a few very fine lines on the front element, Cosmetically it is well used, but operates properly - focus is smooth and aperture stop down is good. I believe this ...
