I have a great love of architecture, and the great buildings that i have seen would be nothing without the humble brick so: get some brick shots in, house bricks, brown bricks, red brick, one brick or a millionrnrnthe main focus must be - BRICKS. simples

have driven past this monument to the mallard many a time and never stopped to take a pic. great use of DoF

Many thanks to Bill_And for selecting my entry.

I was lucky as the only opportunity I had to take a photograph was Saturday morning, when the weather was briefly sunny, before we returned to the current monsoon season

An interesting subject - thank you for the competition and the judging.

I shall have a think about the next topic and hopefully post it soon

Here in Newfoundland its no big deal to take pictures inside or out of school...Great place to live!

Congratulations to Hyram for his winning shot, which was indeed a great shot. Other entries were just as great, among my favourites were Daniel Bridge's, johnriley's or davidtrout's ... So great judging!

I was fasinated by that brick train...Where is that located and what is it a monument for ?...or just a real creative individual with lots of bricks!

Hi JudithAnn.

The train is on the outskirts of Darlington, North Yorkshire, England - the birthplace of the railway

really - its in the middle of nowhere, as you can see by the satelite link
