I done it again by accident, scrolling back a page and lost the judging comments 🤬

The fall in New England by Stevisds, a spate river judging by the boulders in low water, winding its way through the scene. The surrounding forest and foliage provides even more texture and beautiful colours all combing to show the warmth and peace of such a place. I bet there’s some nice trout to be had fishing ‘this secret location 🤫

Kenilworth Common by Davidwozhere, another rich in ambers, leaning symmetry’s, all guiding one through this ancient path. Love the composition and fantastic colour and image quality in the entirety of it.

Loch Creran by Perspicador, It’s a lovely image and I would love to judge it but exif records show that it was taken by a Sony Camera, so far to say I’m a little surprised by you Perspicador to say the least😇😀😀😀

Autumnal Colours by Sueriely, a busy scene that I would struggle with but you have achieved this with ease. Beautiful seasonal colours throughout, the central compositional foliage balances the wooded and the reflections magnificently.

Strawberry Leaves by MOHL, Transitional colours captured but the light is pretty harsh and the background also might be a bit to distracting. A closer in approach possibly to concentrate on the textures in the leaves which contain wonderful colours

Fredericksburg Cemetry by Kasperbergholt, I have to admit that I am at a loss with this submission. It contains no colour, mabye that’s the intention, is to imagine colour or I could be completely wrong of course 😇
You entered another photograph of the roses earlier in the week and it was aB@W also but you created a beautiful golden tonal range along the highlights. I thought it was a very interesting idea and take on autumnal colour but you removed it and put this up instead.

Autumnal Bokeh by Noelcmn, backlit leaves and no mistaking the season, it’s like the bokeh background is lightning the main composition. Nice take.
One thing Noelcmn, I am able to view most peoples Photos full size but yours for some reason will not go to full screen🧐

1st Davidwozhere
2nd Sueriely
3rd Stevisds

It could have been in any order, thanks and well done everyone

I didn't get a notification of this nice success so it's as well I looked or John would have been chasing me. What (didn't) happen?
I always do the comments in Notepad and after every one of them - it's infuriating when you lose them, usually by going back for another look at an image. It's straightforward to the result into the contest's comment box.

Thank you for the 1st and, as you rightly say, it could have been any of them in any order here so well done Sue and Steve too.

We haven't had a single colour one for a while so let's go for 'blue'.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Hi David, the notification is now via email, I've just tested the system and all's well. May be the email inadvertently went into your spam/junk folder on your email client?

Thank you for the detailed & motivational feedback, Flan I should have sticked to my first contribution.

Got carried away with new photo, happens sometime or rather often.
